The highest ranked player currently in the PDC without a major title to his name, Ronnie is edging ever closer to the big win this will confirm his standing in the sport.

Consistently one of the leading players during the past ten years, Ronnie has suffered disapppointment in two Embassy finals, as well as the 1998 World Matchplay final and 2002 Las Vegas Desert Classic showpiece.

Capable of beating the very best in the business on his day, Ronnie's quick-fire style earned him the nickname 'The Rocket' and makes him a favourite on the circuit.

Originally from Lancashire but now in charge of Cirencester's Brewers Arms, Ronnie found fame on the North American circuit during the mid-1980's before establishing himself on the UK scene.

Victories in events such as the British Matchplay, British Pentathlon and Opens in Wales, Germany, Denmark and Finland helped Ronnie to become the number one in the BDO and WDF rankings before he joined the PDC in 2002.

Ronnie has reached the semi-finals of the 2004 and 2005 two Stan James World Matchplay tournaments, and also made the last four at the Skybet World Grand Prix last October.
